Hot take: creator follower count LITERALLY doesn't matter. When's the last time you visited someone's TikTok profile that's not a brand? Never. Exactly. You're consuming all your content on the For You Page. People see a product on the FYP, tap the tag, and buy without ever visiting a profile. I've seen creators who have under 5,000 followers make $200,000 of GMV a month on TikTok Shop. Brands, stop vetting creators by follower count. Start vetting by performance.

    01The challenge

Give buyers a reason to choose Sohva.

Brands had plenty of social-commerce agencies to consider. Sohva wanted its difference to come through before the pitch: a clear point of view, practical TikTok Shop expertise and Navi’s candid voice.

    02The approach

Start with the decision the buyer has to make.

    1. 01

      Bring out the operator’s thinking.

Content interviews explored the real questions Navi handled with brands: how much to invest, which creators to work with and when TikTok Shop was the wrong fit.

    2. 02

Make the buyer’s problem the hook.

Posts tackled the cost of being too selective about affiliates, the investment needed to succeed and what platform changes meant for brands. Client-result stories made Sohva’s approach tangible.

    3. 03

Build the audience and learn from its response.

The program combined publishing with targeted network growth. Influent reviewed which posts attracted relevant people, refined the content and surfaced those engagements for Navi’s follow-up.

    03The results

The content carried into real conversations.

Across the program’s June 2025–September 2026 content, Navi’s posts recorded more than 670,000 impressions. Her audience grew from 1,904 to 5,283 followers.

Navi reported sales calls where buyers had already read her posts, learned from them and recognized how Sohva’s approach differed. She later described LinkedIn as helping establish her credibility and support closing conversations, including a competitive consumer-brand win.

The content also opened new conversations. Navi said representatives helping New Zealand businesses enter the U.S. reached out after seeing her LinkedIn presence while looking for a TikTok Shop partner.
